Quickly Becomes Boring
Wait times are pretty long even from the start. Youre pretty stifled with only 2 commanders. The VIP system is a total cash grab.
Game is designed to extract maximum money from players with little real care about gameplay or social aspect.
Unless they do some major tweaks, this game wont keep many players interested.
The economic model is similar to Vega Conflict. But Ark of War takes it a bit further with the VIP system and almost immediate long wait times. (By just level 4 it takes over 2 hours to farm a private bank.) What Ark of War lacks is any depth to the combat itself and leaves you with absolutely nothing to do when your 2 initial commanders are tied up.
Once you pop your "beginner protection bubble" youll need to tie one commander up to defend your ark in the garrison. Leaving you just one available commander until level 8.
This is not currently a good game. But theres some potential if its developed.
